University of Michigan This article summarizes the collaborative evaluation of a sexual assault prevention education program. First, an overview of collaborative evaluation is provided, followed by a description of one program in which successful collaboration between a prevention educator and an evaluation consultant was achieved. Finally, the lessons that the collaborators learned are used to make recommendations for collaboration in the field of sexual assault prevention. Although additional time and personal commitment are required for true collaborative evaluation to take place, the benefits make such commitment worthwhile.
