Generic Violence Prevention and Gendered ViolenceGetting the Message to Mainstream AudiencesNortheastern Illinois University Feminist analyses of violence against women are often isolated from other public attention to the problem of violence in general. The Choosing Non-Violence program examined here originated from a domestic violence organization but attempts to bridge the separation between generic violence prevention and domestic violence prevention.
